Every jewel is a work of Art and our body is the socle. ALLIAGES is an organization which aims to enhance and promote the Contemporary Art Jewelery and educate the people to this art. An artist, often creative and talented, has a great difficulty to reveal his work. ALLIAGES has the goal of promote the career and the artistic world of these artists, showing their works to the public at various events and exhibitions. To do this, ALLIAGES has a permanent space in which successive exhibitions happen throughout the year, where the artists, confirmed or not, have the opportunity to present their work during a longer or shorter period while avoiding a classic network that, in many cases, offers this possibility only to “sure values”. Our goal is to offer quality exhibitions and help visitors to discover new talents.

Nicole Schuster

Nicole Schuster

Nicole Schuster | “I was born in the “city of 100 fires” in the area of Ruhr/Germany, famous for its (almost former) coal and steel mines. The furnaces, gasometer, headframes, the bridges over motorways and rivers are fascinating me, as the stories that lie within and the continuous change and the rich culture that grows out of that retired industry.  I work about the relation of nature and culture, as an opposite, as an addition, as a process. The tension between the environment created by humans and the final recapture of nature over the structures and ruins is flowing into my work, creating wearable sculptures that appear like poetic places or abstract landscapes.”(*)

Annie Huang

Annie Huang | “Annie Huang is a South African-Taiwanese Jewellery Designer. Graduating from the Birmingham School of Jewellery, UK in 2015, her ’Sense of Belonging’ collection has been selected for exhibitions in the UK, The Netherlands, Hong Kong and most recently ‘Talente’ in Munich, Germany. Coming from a multi-cultural background, she has always questioned what her sense of belonging is. Her aesthetics are from nature, with a deep fascination for trees and creates her work with a concept of personal identity. The combination of the two results in intricately textured story-telling pieces. “(*)

Yiota Vogli | “SHADOWS This collection is the embodiment of a fantasy world populated with shadows, exotic birds, grotesque demons and fairies, an exploration of the aesthetic and literary values of such creatures and the real and symbolic nature of the shadow as an image and a figure. We are aware of a tiny fraction of the thinking process that goes on in our minds, and we can control only a tiny part of our conscious thoughts. The vast majority of our thinking efforts go on subconsciously. Thoughts like birds will always hover high in the sky but is our responsibility to prevent the ‘birds’ from landing in our minds. Those creatures become symbolic statements and represent obsessions, our ideas and fears or projections of our subconscious. Based on this approach, they are merely symbolic representations of human psychological states.”(*)
