The Munich Jewelry Week 2023 is about to start with more than one hundred exhibitions and parallel events (lectures, fair, etc…) all across the city. The other artists will have to produce two creations related to the chosen piece, one inspired by the aesthetics of the creation, and the other inspired by its concept. Precious Collective presents Battle of the Pins, a celebratory show in honour of the five years that the Precious Collective has existed. It is also celebrating the fact that a Pin or Brooch has its own agency, an object in its own right that can reflect personality, politics, thoughts, feelings, messages, or anything the maker or wearer wants it to be! SCHMUCK SELECTION 2023
This year, the Alliages artists have been selected : Sara Shahak, Monique Lecouna & Sébastien Carré. For over 60 years, the special show SCHMUCK at « Handwerk & Design » has been the most important show in contemporary artistic jewelry. This time, the special show was curated by the British artist Caroline Broadhead. Prizes and Awards: Herbert-Hofmann-Prize,at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
