Shining DESPAIR

Necklace “We Are A Colony”, 2019
Nugold, synthetic teeth, clay, 280mm
Fabrication

We Are A Colony is an uncanny, but beautiful necklace constructed from over 38 sets of teeth.

Individually, they are small and uneasy to look at, but taken as a whole, we start to see them form their own rules and subdivisions. An homage to the power of the collective existing only by the willingness, nay the inclination, to conform.
