FRAGILITY
Isabelle Busnel
France

This work looks at fragility through two brooches made from broken jewellery found in flea markets. Each piece is partly lost and incomplete, set in soft silicone and stitched with light punch needle embroidery. The pale blue and pink colours suggest something gentle and delicate. What’s missing is as important as what remains. The gaps invite the viewer to imagine the objects’ past lives. These brooches hold the quiet tension between care and damage, showing how something fragile can still carry beauty and meaning.
