FRAGILITY

Objects have a way of holding stories, carrying traces of memory, family, and identity. I’m drawn to the quiet power of the things we keep close and how they connect us to the past. Through crochet and metalsmithing, I use making as a form of remembrance, a way to slow down and reflect on moments that continue to shape me. The photographs I work with come from my personal archive and act as points of connection, linking material, color, and form to memory. I think about how these objects hold both strength and fragility, how they change as memories fade or are reinterpreted over time. Each piece becomes a small monument to personal history, preserving the people, places, and experiences that continue to define who I am.
