FRAGILITY
Luisa Mucedola
Italy

Through tempered glass – strong yet vulnerable – I explore the human condition, its balance between resistance and dissolution. In each crack and fragment, I find the truth of living: strength born from limits, beauty emerging when perfection breaks. My jewels speak of bodies and relationships, of identity and wounds. In some, fragility is intimate, linked to the body as a memento mori; in others, it becomes a collective voice — the voice of women saying “NO” to violence and possession. Each piece is a small glass body: it may break, yet still reflects light. Fragility is not weakness, but awareness — the act of mending, caring, and resisting.
