Wired cloisonné, The piece features a window-shaped element made of copper, adorned with wire enamel. It is framed by pure silver border, reminiscent of a window. The reverse side showcases a technique where thick silver foil is used as a base, onto which wire enamel is applied, symbolizing the radiance of sunlight.

The phrase « Every cloud has a silver lining » perfectly expresses this concept. Even in the deepest moments of despair, there is always a glimmer of hope. The front of the brooch captures the night sky seen through a window during this dark time. The back of the brooch represents the morning sky, full of brilliance and hope. I used cloisonné, a technique I excel at, to depict these scenes with fine wires and delicate enamel. Through this piece, I aimed to show that despair is not eternal and that hope, like the dawn, is always radiant and full of light.
