FRAGILITY

This project contemplates HOME as a fragile talisman — a place that shelters and soothes, yet trembles with vulnerability and uncertainty. The pieces are made from mop floorcloth, a material that unravels thread by thread when touched. To keep its form, it must be sewn by hand, again and again — a quiet ritual of repair. It reflects home as something tender and unstable, held together by gestures of mending, renewal, and care.
Through these works, I search for intimate spaces — places that echo comfort and belonging, yet must be assembled and strengthened to endure.
In « MY HOME », a small three-level structure with twisted roots suggests both grounding and fragility, the delicate tension of shelter and exposure.
In « IS THIS MY HOME? », embroidered words repeat like mantras, affirming and rebuilding fragile foundations of attachment and meaning.
A red cotton thread runs through both pieces like a pulse — a protective lifeline, binding what unravels, holding the unseen devotion that sustains the feeling of home.
