FRAGILITY
Gloria Tormo
Spain

There is not one fragility, but countless ones. Emotional fragility, health fragility, knowledge fragility, integrity fragility, etc.
Suddenly, one day, we discover that everything we believe to be strong and stable crumbles or disappears, revealing our weaknesses and insecurities.
We always carry our weaknesses with us, and they are different for each of us. Only if we understand that we all have them will we be able to better accept our own.
Illness exposes that vulnerability in a very obvious way
The tiniest virus changed our world — it locked us inside our homes and reminded us how fragile we are as a species.
Our heart pumps blood through us, carrying both what heals and what harms.
Just as our heart keeps us alive, it can also spread our own fragility through every part of us.
