As every year, at the beginning of autumn, the Mediterranean people know that one day the floodgates of heaven will open, it will start to rain with unprecedented force and will sweep away everything in its path.
It is a challenge between men and nature. Earth, air, fire and water are the four elements that make up the matter, that saves you or kills you irrationally, but also depending on how we behave towards it, and scientists have been warning for some time that measures must be taken. The earth that feeds you can crush with an earthquake, the air with that pleasant breeze can become a devastating hurricane, the fire in the fireplace on a winter day is capable of setting fire to forests and the water you drink can sweep away your entire life, as has happened in Valencia. In the midst of this desolation we are moved by the solidarity of people who give what they have and young people, who have taken exemplary actions, cry out: “we don’t have money, but we do have two hands with which to help.” With these pieces, which are brushstrokes of bright colors, I want to provide a ray of light and hope and call for action, energy and joy with red but also for hope, youth and life with green.
