The works in this section explore the complex relationship between inner selfhood and the outward performance of identity. Confronting societal expectations, gendered decorum, and emotional fluctuations, these artists use wearable art as a medium of quiet defiance, self-acceptance, and authentic dialogue. Through repurposed containers, forged silver, stone paper, and steel, their creations turn internal vulnerabilities and masked emotions inside out—challenging rigid social scripts and celebrating the freedom to embrace our true, unpolished human condition.
