These necklaces represent the duality of emotions within us. While looking at them from the front, we can read the words ‘FEAR’ and ‘HOPE.’ However, when we change our viewpoint to the side, we can discover the words ‘FEARLESS’ and ‘HOPELESS.’ These pieces symbolize the fluctuation between moments of weakness and strength. In some situations, we have fear; in others, we are fearless. We can have the biggest hopes but then find ourselves in doubt. As these pieces frame the body, they become wearable reminders that strength and struggle coexist.
