Minna Karhu | « “Blank Space” is a result of prompt creative process. The final result is a series of simple handmade brooches, which are inspired by personal identification tags and badges. At a deeper level topic deals with memory and fear, but most importantly it deals with the passage of time. “Blank Space” is a stagnant state of mind. You feel fear when you are faced with a blank sheet of paper. You become unable to write your name and finally you don´t even remember you name. All you have left is a surface corroded by time. »(*)
